It is a great show! I met a few people from
the VFB there last year. I will probably go again this
year. I have a few friends that tied there and I saw some pretty
nice flies from some International tiers I hadn't met before. You
will be able to pick up some nice supplies there also. If you like
to collect flies you will find some really nice ones. Igor Stancev still
remembers me. What I couldn't buy at the show I ordered from him
later. It was a long drive with the kids but like I said I'm already to do
it again! Don't miss it.

It looks like the date for the Int'l Fly Tying
Symposium have FINALLY been accounced (11/22, 11/23) and I was wondering if
anyone who has been to it before can tell me if its worthwhile going up there
for the whole weekend. I tried to make it last year, but I couldn't for
an assortment of reasons. I don't recall a whole lot of activity on VFB
about the event though. If anyone who has gone in the past could offer
any information, I would really appreciate it. Is anybody thinking about
going this year?
