Im finally back in town from a trip the family and I took to the Outer Banks. I thought I signed off list, but apparently not...looks like I missed alot, coming home to over 200 messages from the VFB alone. Dad and I fished every day, and probably caught over 200 spot, a couple nice croakers, an a few sheepshead. I even hooked up with a 5 foot gar for a little bit, that was quite a rush!! On thursday we went out on the gulf stream in my dad's friend's self built 60 foot boat for some tuna fishing. We caught 18 tuna(our limit) in a little under an hour and a half. I caught the biggest one wieghting in at a little over 50 pounds. And then a couple 40's and a few 20's, which are BIG tuna for this time of year. Didnt do any fly fishing, but still had a blast.
