That reminds me of a situation in Baltimore about three years ago.  My
fiance and I had gone to watch the fireworks at a school nearby.  The
fireworks were being set off in the middle of the school's stadium with
spectators filling the stands.  Luckily, we were about a quarter of a mile
away, above the stadium but well within view.  We saw something head up in
the air maybe 200 feet.  It looked like someone had set a 55 gallon drum of
gasoline on fire and tossed it into the air.  Anyhow, need less to say it
went off incorrectly about 150 feet above part of the crowd and plenty of
people wound up getting hurt.  You never know when your time is going to be
up, but don't rush it by being stupid!  Have a safe holiday!
