I thought that while I am sitting here in the ocean breeze I would try a few
of the furled leaders. The site you mention, Joyce, uses mono (which I may
also use for some saltwater leaders) I am most interested in the thread
leaders.
Just substitute thread for mono. UNI 6/0 will yield similar weights as 12/00 mono. For a decent light line leader use a 11/5/3 formula, yielding a 22-16-10-8-6 thread taper.
