furled specialists ....
pls help a crazy german out. What is a troutstalker leader compared to a
furled leader?
Rene
Rene,
The Trout Stalker Leaders are the ones I make. You could say that it is a name brand in the making. Trout Stalker is part of my Yahoo ID, and I plan on marketing my leaders under this name. Hopefully I can get a patent for the name.
Can't get patents on names, only on 'inventions', i.e. designs and such. You CAN get names protected as trade marks.
The main difference in my leaders and some of the others is that mine are made from one continuous strand, whereas others are made from 2 "legs". Also, I believe that I am the only person that guarantees their leaders for a year.
Most furled leaders are made from a single continuous strand, even mine ;-). Just like the description in Darrel Martin's book...
cheers
henk
