What happens if my cats drink the Lemon Fresh Joy. Is it toxic to them? I had a cat once that drank some antifreeze, got stumbling drunk and died, all within a span of 20 minutes.

Hi Jimmy,

I'm just the messenger on this...I already have one report back from a friend that he tried the Lemon Joy / white plate and it worked. There's still a chance this is a complete illusion! People should at least give it a try.

Cats and dogs lap up antifreeze because to them it tastes sweet. And deadly- it's stops your pet's kidneys from functioning among other things. Never ever dump your antifreeze on the ground when there are pets around. Always dispose of properly...some recyclers have collection procedures for it.

To a toddler, antifreeze and Kool-Aid would taste similar.

I think the best Lemon Joy would do would give your cat a case of the yucks. I can't imagine they would be atttracted to something with a lemon scent and soapy taste. It would seem that it's not toxic to them unless they drank, say, two or three gallons. We are, after all, washing our eating utensils with this stuff.
