I drove from Craig, Colorado, through Steamboat and over the pass to the
junction of Empire and West I-70 last week (got snowed on up on top, even).
The river along the highway down between Craig and Steamboat looked very
inviting. I think it was the Yampa River. What are the fishing
possibilities in that stretch of water, and is it worth a stop? I saw zero
flyfishers and/or drifters on the parts that I could see from the road. But
it looked very accessible for wading.

So is anyone familiar with this area? Appreciate the input.
