Hurricane Isabel has given us MD'ers some mad amount of rain and thus it is IMPOSSIBLE to fish teh streams. The Patuxent is so high the stream is almost four feet up on the bank. Considering that Baltimore streets are flooded (don't know how it happened, considering how hilly some of B'more is), it figures the streams are in a really bad condition. I just hope the very fast waters won't wash out all the fish or cause too much damage. Thankfully, the fast water should clean out most of the silt and thus help the fish in spawning. A LOT of blowdowns lie along the streams and the branches that were torn off due to the high winds have made huge piles of cover for fish so the fishing might just get even more tricky and exciting. Lets all hope for the very best from this freakish high water.....
