Roger, Graeme, Rene, Ashley, Ian, et al. - the
international box is here in northern Michigan.
Received the box two days ago- Wonderful flies, so
many techniques and styles represented- (Laings loop
wings are too cool-need to break out the Benchside
Reference and try to tie one)! I am hoping to narrow
my selection down to six or so flies. I need to get my
vice cranked up this evening to tie up some
replacements.

The salmon are nice and thick in the north country
now. Have caught several the past few weeks, mostly
on black stones. We have had one of the earliest
snowy days I can remember. Big snow pellets (not
flakes-but the size of #2 shotgun pellets) falling on
the Pere Marquette today on and off- bring your
November clothing if you are headed up the next few
days.

Gotta run- need to get to the fly bench.
