Interesting looking device, probably easy to home-brew using those plastic coated coils available with a lot of inexpensive products like keychains.
I do a lot of stillwater bank fishing, and keeping the stripped line out of rocks and stubby bushes at ground level would be a great plus. Really like how compact this is.
