i gave up on blocking, filtering etc.
most of the VFB members were blocked but not the VFB itself
now i start by deleating before i open whats left.

Sometimes things in the subject line cause my mailwasher to blacklist or
flag things as spam that really aren't. All of Dels messages to me get
flagged as spam for some reason. So I fixed problem by adding certain
people to my friends list if I noticed they keep getting flagged. I really
have to baby sit my mailwasher and make sure it doesn't blacklist something
I want. It has cut down on the spam I was receiving though.
