All,

Thanks very much for the feedback relating to my question about the DS2 rod. I have had the chance to test it out and now realise that it is a very "sturdy" rod indeed. Not quite what I expected for a rod that is designed to throw a 5wt line. As for delicacy of presentation, Im not convinced. My friend who currently owns the rod claims that it cant be beat. I reckon a stint out on the river is the only way to make the final decision. Gotta ba carefull though, the trout season is over this side of the pond and if I get caught.......................................

Your feedback is hugely appreciated, where would I be without ye!??

Cheers,

Loxy.

and see how it loads and unloads? Put a line on it and work
it over in the back yard. You can get a pretty fair idea
from that, even if you can't take it to the water. I have a
8'6" 6wt RPL that I use for everything. Wrapped it
myself. Love it. Good luck

All,
Can I ask what you think of the Sage fly rods. In
particular I have been offered a DS2 5 weight, 8'6" - 2
piece rod and want to get an idea of what it is like. I know
that the sage rods have a great name, but I am also aware of
the power of advertising. Can I have the truth??

Much appreciated,

Loxy.
