HI Jimmy
Glad to hear you both are doing good.
My fishing car/truck is a 2004 GMC extended cab, 4x4, I have a topper on it. I have a sleeping bag, a change of clothes, box of hand warmers, about 6 pairs of fingerless gloves, travel coffee cup, two bottles of water, tow rope, jumper cables, two rifles and a pistol, two walkie talkies, extra batteries, duct tape, three jackets, 4 flats caps, one winter cap and a snake light in the cab. In the box I have my pontoon boat, waders and shoes, two folding chairs, two tool boxes, wading staff (old ski pole) 6 rods, and a box of reels. An extra landing net, an empty bucket, carpet pad to stand on and two bags of fly boxes.

After I put out todays quote, I thought it might be fun to query the list as to what each of you use for your fishing car/truck.  Im sure this will run the gamut from ragged pick ups and cars  to family cars/trucks to custom fishing vehicles and for the rich ones, maybe a HUMMER. LOL !   Im just wondering what modifications have you made, if any, to your fishing vehicle to ease your trip to and from the stream and your overnight camping while fishing.  Mine is a 1996 4-door F350 diesel pick up.  Ive added a big locking aluminum tool box on the bed, just behind the rear window. Here I carry a floor jack, 4-way lug wrench, heavy duty jumper cables, and a 10X12 tarp, just in case its needed.  Also I have my streamside fly tying kit, a sleeping bag, air mattress, pop-up dome tent, propane stove, Boy Scout Patrol cook kit, an extra fuel filter for the truck and an assortment of wrenches, etc. I also put all my fishing gear that I wont use except my fly rods, which I store out of sight behind the rear seat.  Dont want to run the chance of having my truck broken into when someone spies my fishing gear, like what happened to Del Roberts earlier this year.

LEMME HEAR FROM YOU Whats your fishing vehicle ??? Any modifications ???

Have a Great Day

P.S. YES, IM STILL A PRISONER IN MY OWN HOME NO DRIVING, RIDING, ETC. TILL I go see my doc on the 12th. Hopefully hell clear me to resume my normal activities.    So . . . like I said earlier, I tie flies, manage the three swaps Im currently meistering, play on the computer and lastly aggravate you guys.  Hey a guys gotta do what hes gotta do!
