I can't remember if I included "Space Blankets" in my list of stuff I keep
in the truck. But, thought I would pass out a tip. Years ago in the Coast
Guard a pilot friend taught me a trick. It was not at all uncommon for us to
get wet, or at least damp when on patrol, ( much like we do when out fly
fishing). When we would crawl back into the seats the dampness permeated the
cushions and made the ride home miserable. Mark taught me that if you fold
the survival, ( AKA Space Blanket), so that the reflective side is out and
then place it on the cushion and up the back that it would radiate the heat
back to your body and dispel the cold damp feeling. I have used this for
years in my vehicles during the cold winter months and it still works great,
( especially since I have a lower back injury it helps a lot).

Just thought I would pass it on for what it is worth.
