Jerry: Spooky. My wife used to write in a journal each morning regarding her dreams of the previous night. She firmly believes that our dreams could tell us more than we think. I am of the opinion also that there are "no accidents" in life. I am not a fatalist, and I don't believe in pre-destination, but usually things happen for a reason. Keep your eyes open and see what develops. Thanks for sharing this. Good luck
Larry J >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/07/03 11:37AM >>> VFB First, let me acknowledge the incredible opportunity this post will give the "WITS" of the list (DIM) and others to display their amazing facility for satire and other effacing use's of the English language. SO, Dr. Demento, ,Sir Dean of SoCal, Alllllllllan, Sir herring, hairing, hairwing err, heck Robert, and of course The Oldest Boy Scout in the state of Texas (maybe the world) --- fire away. I CAN TAKE IT !!!!!! It is now open season on Portly FlyFishing Jews from central Florida !!! :-) (oooops- please keep any anti-Semitic references to yourself or I will be forced to refer to my lawyers. Schwartz, Schwartz, Schwartz, Schwartz, Schwartz, and Schwartz, Inc.--BTW-watch out for Schwartz- he is nasty. ) Could also refer to the ADL or I just might get GUIDO ( he not Jewish, but is a specialist on the staff of the aforementioned Atty Schwartz). OK to my point !! As a very few of you know, I teach/facilitate very powerful weekends for personal growth, self actualization (ETC--fill in your buzzword !!) And I am very attuned to portends that appear before a weekend. Last night I had a dream in which there were several references to Phaedra and the color green, as if to suggest some sort of intimate connection. The dream lingered, repeated, flashed again. No details-- just that combination. Very strange. I know the story of Phaedra and Hippolytus and at some time in college or grad school I read Euripides' play, Hippolytus. This morning I received a roster of participants and among them is a 14 year old girl named Phaedra. I am 60 years old and have been teaching these courses for 20 years. In my 60 years of life and in my 20 years of facilitating I have NEVER PERSONALLY encountered any one named PHAEDRA. I do not believe in coincidences. So I am trying to make some sense of the dream time reference. Is there a mythological or archetypal reference or connection that anyone can make ?? This young woman has an Ojibe' mother who is a highly regarded psychic and Grandmother (in the Native American spiritual sense). Perhaps there is a type of connection there that I am not aware of. I would really appreciate any insight anyone has !! THANKS OK--I am looking for serious feedback, but knowing the SICK MINDS of this list, LET THE GAMES BEGIN !!! I am leaving for Tampa quite soon. if you want to contact me off list, i am at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I will have my laptop with me. JG Jerry Goldsmith Altamonte Springs, Fl [EMAIL PROTECTED]
