It's a great way to get multiple colors whether you're just starting or have
been tying for a long time. If you can go to a fly shop and look at the
Whiting 100 packs, check the price and then do the math. I think you'll find
that for 6 colors you'll far exceed the asking price for the co-op swap and
for fewer feathers. As a plucker you get to keep what is left of the saddle
after all the dry fly quality feathers have been plucked, it's a bit of work
to pluck but worth it.
