new fly discovery: Atlantic Salmon hair wings...just learned to tie, and for fishing...Woven Body Stoneflys

new flytying material: Not new by any means, but I have done alot of work with Deer Hair and Bucktail latly

flyfishing connected experience: Taking an 11 year old to a hatchery with my fly rod, and having him catch his very first trout(using a worm as bait, but on the fly rod) A very nice, fat 18 inch Palamino Trout...and watching his face. Nothing greater than that!

misc: Learning all the tips that everyone on list has taught me or spoken of, I feel my tying ability has improved 1000% since joining the list.

gear buy: A new 8 wieght 3 forks BPS combo...the only thing i've really bought

goal: teach people how to fly fish

biggest (or most memorable) fish: Biggest: 22 inch brown on the susquehanna

most memorable fishing day and place: Spin fishing while wet wading in the susquehanna, catching 20+ small mouth and watching the boys catch thier fair share

most valuable ff lesson learned: Spinning deer hair the right way, paraloops, rope dubbing

new and helpful flytying tool: Learning to whip finish instead of half hitch.

favorite new CD to tye to: Short Bus Boys "Welcome to Rockview" Local band(in rockville, MD) thats really nice to listen to all around
