You learn something every day, (hopefully), and i just found out that 
there's such a thing as a sinking furled leader. I've been using the ones 
you have to coat with Muscillin, for all my dry fly fishing for a couple 
years now, and i love the way they turn over. Denny Conrad of Conranch 
Hackle gave me my first one, (he makes them), and i was hooked. Then i 
bought a bunch of them from Blue Sky, i think it is, and now that's all i

Gary,
The best I have seen come from Skip Shorb. He was a short time member of 
this
list some years ago.
He has a different way of making them, the furl is the tight and slightly
different that most furles I have seen.  He will be doing a demo at the 
Sowbug.
I hope you will make it in 2004.
I am sure that he would answer any questions you might have about furled
leaders. He even makes sinking furled leaders.
