i find that a sz 10 black wolly bugger with oversized black hackle and bead chain eyes is killer on big bluegills. For trout/bass an olive tail, olive/brown mottled chenille body(variginated<sp?> chenille) with black hackle works well also. I have wolly buggers in the same colors, some with flash, some without, some with wieght, some without, so i can match the needs of whatever im looking for at the time. A dark olive wolly bugger with a light olive tail also seems to do good. A purple wolly bugger does wonders on bass, representing a leech or even a peeler crawfish. And always have a few white wolly buggers on hand for smallies.

Make a plain black Woolly Bugger into an "Electric Bugger" by ribbing it with a single strand of royal blue flashabou. Reports are that it'll out-fish the regular Bugger 10-1!

Janet

What do you all suggest as to methods, techniques, and patterns??
In my streamer box I currently have Woolly Buggers in Brn, Brn/blk, Brn/Orange, Blk, and Olive.
