Darn Tony, you had me so inspired there i didn't realize i was replying on 
list. LOL. Oh well.......lol. When i first moved to N.Y.C. in '81 i lived at 
the YMCA right near the old Colliseum, on 63rd St. for bout a year while 
driving cab. And by the way, the cat that i was referring to who was like a 
father to me, also taught me that "if you take it for granted, it'll turn 
into granite." mark

Not too much longer to go for the 80 mark. My flying stopped in 1988 when I 
had
heart problems.
That is when I got back into tying flies full time after on and off for 40
years.
Will tell you my age when I see you. I have seen Lee Wulf tie flies without 
a
vise at the old Coliseum in N.Y. That should give you some idea.
