The local FS sells foam inserts with a sticky back. I think they're for customizing Wheatley flyboxes, you can get ripple or flat for around 3 bucks each. Not sure what the exact dimensions are. You can probably find some online and cut to fit. Wes said he found some bristle tack at the local GI surplus store in Bend. I'm headed over there tomorrow to scoop some up. He said it was pretty cheap, if there's enough I'll grab some for you, too. FWIW, I made a box for steelhead flies from a Huggies container, it's about 4X8X1 inches. Little big for a vest pocket, but okay to throw in a gear bag.

    PS...... I think I could make one from a plastic pencil case if I had some ripple foam of bristle tack. Unfortunately I don't have any.
