By the way, the Utah state record for Brown Trout is a 33 pound 40" inch monster. The largest from the Logan river (actually taken from an impoundment like the one I was fishing) is 28 pounds.
Of course there is no way to know how big this particular fish really was... but it was far an away the biggest Brown I have ever seen.
