I bought the UK fly fishing and tying magazine today, included in it was a catalog. Looking thru the gadgets I came across something called preists and marrow spoons. Can you explain to me what these are or do?

Hi John,
Priests are the short, heavy clubs you use to knock a fish out. Forget what we call 'em on this side of the pond.
Marrow spoons are used to sample the contents of the stomachs of trout that are meant to be killed and kept (common in the U.K.)
