I bought the UK fly fishing and tying magazine today, included in it was a catalog. Looking thru the gadgets I came across something called preists and marrow spoons. Can you explain to me what these are or do?

A priest administers the last rites... I.e. you whack a trout over the head with it in order to take it home for dinner. A marrow spoon is then optionally used to check its stomach contents, in order to better choose the next fly. This if course is something of a catch 22, since you need to catch that (first) trout to be able to check its stomach contents, so you already had a fly on that apparently worked...

Sometimes marrow spoon, or scoops, are used on live fish too...
