Ok Jimmy OK. I would search the overhanging trees and bushes of that favourite spot and retreive one or more of the flies that fellow VFB'er Mel lost there last time and use that.
Failing that, I would tie a live fly to my leader with no hook (Oops careful now!) and when the trout takes, wait an exeedingly long time before retrieving! Ok Jimmy I give up. What's the answer? Nev Gosling
