I can't wait. The "Palmered Gauze" swap. This list is truly........"creative" or
cabin fever has already claimed it's first early victims of 2003-2004.

OKAY,

Jimi, you and I must have attended the same "survival" school. I would
have taken the gauze from the roll of gauze in the first aid kit and
cut it into May Fly wings, stabilized them with some of Jody's hair
spray, which is also in the glove compartment of our cars/trucks and
taped them onto the hook with a piece of the bandaid, then palmered some
gauze for the body, while at the same time and utilizing the bandaid
again, taping some of my beard hair on the hook behind the wings. Then I
would have dyed it by dipping the whole fly into my BIG RED soda.

BY THE WAY, ANYONE INTERESTED IN A SUVIVAL SWAP AS MENTIONED BY DONO?
ALL NATURAL MATERIALS, i.e. clothes, trash, leaves, etc. etc. NO
STORE BOUGHT FLY TYING STUFF, EXCEPT FOR HOOKS. Can't even use your Vise.

DonO suggested it but as busy as he is, I'll host it if there's enough
interest. Should give some very interesting flies
