That copper body, soft hackle "copper John" fishes
wonderfully, here we call it a "copper Joyce" and tie it with both peacock (
with a bit of Krystal flash in the middle with the peacock wound around it) or
with plain old peacock dubbing, enhanced with UV dub and tied spun with the
Krystal flash. It is very effective in the mini sizes..a shrimp type hook in
size 18-20 really catches nice browns on the Provo.
