For really small batches of dubbing, put the bits of yarn, feathers or fur on a wire kitty brush (you will need two) then use the other one against it like wool cards for mixing..works slick and is very useful when you decide, at the last moment, that you want to add something in the mix half way down the line and don't want to get out the coffee grinder.  Joyce
