I use the kitty brushes to card out the silk dubbing that I make from raw silk.

I like them for blending llama dubbing and kid mohair but I have even used them on pigs wool. The pet store brushes are cheaper though and they also work great for getting dog or cat dubbing. Bill -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joyce Westphal Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2004 10:59 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [VFB] coffee grinder-dubbing kitty brush mixers For really small batches of dubbing, put the bits of yarn, feathers or fur on a wire kitty brush (you will need two) then use the other one against it like wool cards for mixing..works slick and is very useful when you decide, at the last moment, that you want to add something in the mix half way down the line and don't want to get out the coffee grinder. Joyce
