Has anyone used a product called Edge Bright for tying flies? Have you heard of anyone having any success with flies tied that way? Any online references?
Edge Bright is the fluorescent-appearing thin transparent plastic that has a very bright cut edge that acts as kind of a light pipe. I can get a quantity of this stuff in fluorescent red, but don't really know if it would be useful in steelhead patterns, midge larva or whatever. I did know of a friend who was experimenting with salmon patterns with this stuff, but that was a while ago and I don't know if there was a positive outcome.
