Hey everyone, just a little update on my little corner of the world. We have about 8 to 10" of snow on the ground. This morning the freezing rain hit us. To clarify freezing rain it is rain that falls and freezes on contact creating a sheet of ice. Currently there is about 1/4" layer of ice on top of the snow. It's very pretty from in the house there are icicles hanging from the street lines and the trees and shrubs have a layer of ice on all their branches. So far no power problems and praying that there aren't any as the ice accumulates on the power lines.

On another note I went to a Dr. on Monday and was diagnosed with bronchitis and given some antibiotics. While I was there they took an x-ray to check for pneumonia and the Dr. noticed that my heart is slightly larger then average. My blood pressure was also extremely high. I've done some reading and searching on the web and found out the two are related. With no insurance right now I'm in a bit of a pickle, I need to see a physician about these issues but can't afford to. Looks like I'm in for some major lifestyle changes in the coming year and for the rest of my life.
