Hey Jeff, I've already been thinking about the fridge/ice issue and I've got enough ice outside that I'll be covered on that end: ). The heat is what worries me the most because I don't have a fireplace or a wood stove so if power goes out I'm screwed. It's only 2 miles to the folks house so if things do get to that point it could be possible to get up there.
As for the health issues I'm doing some research and am seriously planning on diet and exercise changes. The Dr. did say there was no immediate danger in the heart problem but it needed to be addressed before it does become a problem.
