Hi all, just got back from the Fly Tying Show recently.  Had a great time.  
Saw a lot of tyers and learned alot from some.  Some seemed grumpy, others 
just didnt tie the type of flies I was interested in.  Bill Skilton was 
there again, and recognized me from last year, so we talked for a while.  He 
invited me up to PA to fish his ponds with him.  He also showed me some of 
his new products, and taught me how to tie his Hellgramite.  This fly is 
UGLY, so for any of you small mouth fisherman, He is worth checking out, if 
not for this fly alone.  When it is moving, it is nasty, and when at rest 
its full of movement.  I believe his website is www.usaflies.com but I could 
be wrong.

I picked up a few things, mainly some of Skilton's new materials.  Ran 
across a nice soft hackle cape for 1.50 so I grabbed one of those.  Found a 
BEAUTIFUL Whiting Herbert Miner Dry fly cape for 20 dollars but decided not 
to buy it.  It was a bronze grade light barred ginger varient.  Later on I 
came across a grizzly varient bronze grade herbert miner cape, PLUS a wet 
fly grizzly cape.  All for 15 dollars.  The dry fly cape is absolutly 
beautiful, with long feathers and many, many colors.  Golden Badger, 
Grizzly, Reverse Grizzly(Okay so I made that name up, but it's mainly black 
with small white bars.  Does this color have a name?) Silver Badger, a few 
Duns, and a few Gingers as well.  There are also some smaller sized feathers 
that are also long.  This was BY FAR the greatest find I've had in a long 
time.

Didnt see any VFB members there, was I just not looking hard enough?
