Wes is close but a tad large. The max size is usually a 10.5 mm shank
length (basically a standard size 10). There's also an overall fly
length but I've forgotten it at the moment.
This holds for the typical UK loch-style competitions, but not the
Worlds where the hook size and fly size (overall length) are variable
depending upon "local conditions and regulations."
