I  would suspect that you could get them at the art supplu stores. They have many different colored fibres. Probably a bit cheaper than buying a few from the  tying shop. Although, good paint brushes can be very expensive. If you are looking for tan or black you can find them at the hardware store or home depot. You might even find green there.
