Title: Re: [VFB] Off Topic
Yep still exists as of 2 summers ago. When I was comming back down the Hoh river trail there was a group working on the trail. We spoke with them for a few minutes (the rest was needed). Looked like hard work but very rewarding, wish I had been involved with something like that as a teen.

I did a stint with the Youth Conservation Corps. when I was 17 and it was one of the most fun summers of my life. Don't know if the program even exists anymore but we spent a lot of time in the mountains building trails and such. Might want to look into the program or something similar...

Hey everyone,

I know this is off subject but I was wondering what everyone here did for a summer job when they were younger.  I already mow yards and work at a hardware store during the summer but was wondering if anyone knew of any other good jobs for a 16 year old highschool sophomore.  Thanks for your advice

I worked in the bath-house at the swimming pool.  Checking clothes.  Hosing out the changing rooms.  Emptying trash.  That's when I found out females can really be messy.  Yuk.
