Ed,
I've had my Nor-Vise and automatic bobbins for about a year now, and love it! I had to get used to it at first, but the learning curve was very short, just a few flies. I haven't used my Renzetti since. With the addition of the new cam lock jaws it's hard to beat, and even if I didn't have the vise, I would want the bobbins. You just have to remember to leave enough thread out when you cut it or you will be rethreading it. Easy enough, and once you've done it a couple of times you won't forget. The gentleman selling them may have been Norm himself, as that was how I met him, at the Ontario, Ca. flyfishing expo. One heck of a nice guy. I've called him a couple of times, and he is always very personable and helpful. The type of person I enjoy doing business with, plus he stands behind his product. I am in no way affiliated with Nor-Vise, but do enjoy their product.

Finally made it to the NJ fly show and met Byard hell of a nice guy. Anyway just below Byard's stand was a guy selling Nor Vise for tying flys seems like a good vice and I was wondering if anybody ever used one or had any input about them. Ed
