Chris, pulling out enough thread to prevent full wind-up can be
irritating at times. Better just to remember to clip your hackle pliers
to the thread before cutting.
One can love or hate Norm's vise, but the automatic bobbin is essential
if you want to tie on a true rotary. I too wish Norm would come up with
an automatic that would take regular thread spools (difficult design
task); I detest rewinding thread bobbins.
