Title: Re: [VFB] Re: Dry Skin in Winter
Hi Allen,
Do you know what is good for cracked finger tips? Try a drop of Krazy Glue and your problem is solved.
Now if it is your hands I would get a product by the name of Jurgens Lotion, which can be purchased in any drug store.

My poor cracked fingers sure started a 'thread', didn't they.

I've tried Bag Balm.  Too greasy to suit me, although it helps.  And I'm staying away from the obvious jokes.

Corn Huskers is great to rub in your hands just before you tie.  But it doesn't last long.

I haven't had the opportunity to try Gardeners.  My wife got me a similar one at a local place (or they say it is).

All of them "help" the problem.  But the best I've found - and I've only been using it for 3 weeks - was suggestedby my dermatologist as he was busily cutting away yet another chunk out of my body (at this rate, I won't need any 'tucks').  It is called "ULTRAMIDE-25".

You get it through the pharmacy, but it is not a Rx item.  It's strictly OTC (over the counter).  However, few pharmacies stock it.  They have to order it from their wholsalers.  Not a cheapie.  It's nearly $20 for a bottle (8 oz?).  Works great on cracked fingers AND cracked heels.
