My very favorite dry skin fixer comes from the IFA (intermountain farmers store) and is called udder butter or udder balm. It has vitamins and beats every other hand lotion I've ever used. We use it at the surgical center and it really works. No affiliation..just a great product. It is available at CAL ranch stores, veternarians and pet stores which have horse and cow stuff. Joyce
