Subject: [VFB] Bass Leech

Steve,
The way I tie my bass leaches is as follows. I
hope this helps!

Hook: Size 4-10
Thread: Black
Wieght: Either .25 lead wire or bead chain eyes
Tail: Black Marabou
Flash: Red Krystal Flash(or black, purple, or
whatever looks good)
Body: Same Marabou used in tail, wound up the
shank like a palmered hackle. Or you can use black
chenille/black hackle palmered, or even Leech
Chenille

Steps:
Place hook in vice, apply thread, tie in tape to
hook and wrap towards eye,
cover with thread (Or attach bead chain eyes with
a series of figure 8
wraps)
Tie in tail securly, add 2-4 pieces of flash on
each side
Take Tag end of marabou(or tie in a new piece if
big hook) and wrap up to
the eye like chenille or hackle, covering the
entire hook. Tie Off and
finish. I fish them with a short jerking motion
with pauses in between and
have sucsess with them. A purple/black or
red/black blend of very lose
dubbing or leech chenille also works good.

Let me know if you have any questions. Hope this
is what you are looking
for. Good Luck steve!
