Let's see now.  A "traditionalist", as compared to a "Purist".  A 
Traditionalist loves going with tradition, but can adapt to change.  A 
Purist will not adapt come hell or high water!  Might be a little more 
"high and mighty" also.

Color me neither. I go with what works best for me.  I do prefer snakes, 
guides, that is.
