Now if you want to write for mags, best you follow the Outdoor Style Manual of the OWAA. "Fly-tier: one who ties artificial flies. Not fly tyer." I remember a coversation about this with the folks at Fly Tyer mag. They said they spelled it incorrectly for graphic reasons on the cover.
