Ray, i'm down for both dates, March 17th and 24th. Are you kidding? he he he. I used to fish the upper beats a lot too, way upper. Lately though, i haven't gone past the first 3 or 4 above the hatchery. I spend most my time below the hatchery nowdays. And actually that's where i've got all my bigger fish anyway, including a 4 lb. 7 oz. Brookie, a 26 inch Brown and my wife got a real nice steelhead, hen fish about 6 lbs. I may even try the first beat before you ever drive up to the hatchery, down below at the bottom of the 'lake' where that shoot is, and the small falls. If there's gonna be sea run bows, they might be there. I also like that beat just above the lake where it's real deep right before it wides out. I think it's beat 8. or 10. (?). And of course just about anywhere between the hatchery and there is good. I don't care, i just wanna fish. Stay in touch. mark...........

Hey Mark

Not sure about the searuns, they should be there tho. I had a friend of mine
telling me that he goes up to the upper numbers, above the hatchery, even
though there's no wading up there (whirling disease threat) he was saying that
there's a lot of action, nothing big just alot of action. So it would be a toss
up as to where to fish even though nothing is a guarantee. I use to fish the
upper most numbers all the time, it was a great area for floating a muddler.
I'll let you know what I do. I think I may be going to the Suffern RV show
this weekend. I want to check out the new campers and maybe look into swapping
my popup and go 1 step bigger.
Talk to you soon
Keep in touch and let me know if you're thinking of fishing down here on the
Island.

Ray
