I have the same problem but to be honest I find it as easy to include a few bob along with the package. The euro to dollar exchange rate is good for us right now so 10 dollars US is only going to cost 7-8 euros in the bank. Not too painfull.
If you remain to be stuck, I will be hitting off to the states in a week or 2 (not sure yet) and could just send you on the stamps from Galway when I get home.
