Hi, Pete...the Canadian Goose comes in two versions, Canadian and Giant Canadian, but the only advantage would seem to be size - their wings are larger than those of the average domestic goose. If your goose biots aren't large enugh for the chosen hook size, try switching to turkey biots (I like them better anyway due to the range of sizes available).

We have an excessive number of the Giant Canadians overwintering here in Minnesota, but unfortunately the goose-hunting season is closed. Quite formidable when you get in their way on a golf course or park path too!

Hey all,

I asked, and oh did I receive... The "canadian goose" stuff mentioned previously is just a fancy way of saying a goose biot that comes from a canadian goose. Now all i have to do is FIND a canadian goose who's willing to part with some biots... LOL I can't seem to find any sellers online, but it looks similar to a "normal" goose biot, in my opinion - I may just use that.

Pete
