Rene remember, that when that book was written, the quality of hackle is
no where near what it is today.  I can remember needing 2 or 3 hackles
for 1 dry!  I will be on spring break after tonight and will look into
it for you.

Don says the same. Ok, 2:1, maybe I loose <G>. I read the scan from the
Herters book you sent me. There are 2 hackles mentioned, but no colors,
only the type of rooster.
