A friend of mine is on his way to the Suffern Fishing Show today. (I had to work) I did give him the money and asked him to pick me up the "magic tool" if he saw it up there. I did see it demonstrated at the Jersey Fly Fishing Show and should have bought it then, but I wasn't quite as sold on it as I am now. I too, am wondering what type of thread can be split, I realize 8/0 isn't quite right, but what about 3/0 monocord?   Ray
