It was a beautiful day, Wing calm, temp. in the high 60's. Water was turned on at the White.
This made wading impossible except for an hour in the morning. Tom Davenport and Rene hit the river. They did not catch anything, They will try the dock tonight.
Seven of the guys headed for Crooked Creek, It was blown out. No one caught a fish. The Cows were laying down.
This evening we have 16 people for the show here for dinner. Cooking up a bunch of Louisiana Boudine.
After dinner we will go down to the shop and make a few more crank handles for the Renzitti's
Some will stay on the porch tying flies. I showed Tom Davenport how to whip finish by hand and a few other tricks in tying. I also showed him how to furl a tail. I did a demo on making cut feather wings for some of the guys.
We are having a ball, It looks like we will be tying and lying for a few more hours.
More tomorrow if interested.
