Hi everyone, I'm glad someone brought this up -- I'm looking for a mid-range rod(living on a grad- student's salary, I prefer low-range in price, yet good quality... but then, don't we all?), around 5 or 6 weight, with a *LOT* of play in the rod. I'm tired of my current broom-stick! I'm used to a 8.5' 2-piece, but whatever works for small trout streams like the Lil' Lehigh of PA and small streams like that. Keep in mind that this won't be bought until Christmas, or rather, it's a Christmas Present that will be used prematurely (April?) if it's in- hand before then. (Easter's present is a Nymph Tying book) It's sad when you need holidays to justify spending on more fly fishing stuff... -Pete
